You poor French sod Le-Turd - the fairies at the bottom of your garden and
the HOT Aussie sun have warped you brain worse than anyone could imagine. Or
on the other hand has it just shrunk - you know just got smaller and smaller
until it's the size of a pin head in a big empty shell.

But all those veins still go in there all feeding that tiny little nodule
which tries to work so hard, but never quite gets there.

You pooer French demented sod !!!

There are a number of things you can do in order to get by with your
affliction.

Firstly you must realize that you have a problem in the first plasce.
Surely you must realize that you are a demented Nutter. If you don't
believe me, please take my word for it, you DEFINITELY are a NUTTER.

The second thing you must do is to minimize the amount of work you give that
poor little pin sized organ of yours. You must treat it with respect and
nurture it.

Don't nover load it. Forget all about that COSMIC BULLSHIT. It's all CRAP.

The third thing you must do is to stop confusing that small organ if yours
with conflicting information. Stop talking with poor old Horus and Titi.
They are with us no longer and no amount of talking to them will do you any
good.

Your worst enemy though are those nasty little fairies at the bottom of your
garden. You must avoid them at ALL costs. They are no good for your small
pin-head sized brain. They fill yoir brain with all sorts of demented CRAP.

The fourth thing you must do, Le-Turd, is to stay away from that cheap red
plonk you French Frogs grow over there. It is full of all sorts of
pollutants from the polluted soil and groundwater you poor Frogs have to
bear over there.

What you need is some good quality Australian wine - not cheap French plonk.
It will poison your brain even further. Remember Napoleon suffered the same
fate. He died from all the poisons which accumulated in his body.

The fifth thing you must do is to stop shoving that rubber hose up your
arse. If God had intended us to do that we would have all been born with
reubber hoses stuck up our arses. It is simply no good for you., Your poor
little arsehole has to cope with too much already. You shit out of it and
you also talk out of it, so it is overworked already.

And Le-Turd stop playing with it, remember it is at the arse end of your
world.

The sixth thing you must do is to stop WANKING. Remember you have been
inducted into the French hall of fame as France's GREATEST WANKER. Have you
heard anything from the city administrators of La Rochelle yet? I sent then
an email about nominating you as a famous person who has lived in La
Rochelle.

The seventh thing you must do is to come to trhe conclusion that you were
wrong all along and that you are not a famous geologist but you are just
some poor demented, deluded French Nutter.

Finally you must apologize and learn how to repent. You must get down on
your knees and bow your head. You must then place your head between your
knees and shove your head up your arse.

If you repent to the correct degree and shove your head up your arse far
enough, you will completely dissappear and your problems (and ours) will be
SOLVED.

He asked which part of the Constitution says that Aus is a secular country.
He was told which Chapter and Section of the Constitution gives him that
information. He found it because he was given the information.

Okay, found it in about 60 seconds. Basically they say that a
person's religion will not impact upon any Govt. appointment, all
religious rights will be protected, and so on. Good.
Sounds secular enough to me from the Indian perspective - there
secularism does not mean atheism. Quite the reverse, a secular state
can and should be deeply spiritual as it is genuinely tolerant.
Of course, what is religion and what passes for religion, are two
different things.
______________________________________
Well religion does tend to reflect personal beliefs. I can't see how
Scientology meets the critera of being a religion, but its followers think
differently.

Do you really think that is so hard to figure out? Aren't the reptiles of
the Press the same the world over?

Sensationalism sells better than mere factual reporting. Until culprits are
caught and tried there is no way of knowing if the crimes are racially
biased or if it's just thieves taking advantage of people alone and with
limited chance of the thieves being caught.

I hope this craze of women for wearing western dresses which
make a woman look like a man - jeans and sweaters - is a passing phase
and soon women will get sensible and start wearing eye catching
colorful folk costumes.
It does keep one interested and there is a nice twist at the
end which I didnt expect. One thing I would say , dont fall into a
well while playing, you might not survive! Background music and the
music in general is quite good , not the irritating kind where you
cant hear the lyrics.
I think the nightclub song and dance was good and should
have been extended to three minutes and they could have added a dream
song where Deepika could have shown off nice Indian clothes.
Dont ape Hollywood , our movies are far more
entertaining because of the songs and dances and keep them that way.

Well Pedo's are only slightly worse than Poofs because they include
the scum that prey on preteen -prepubescents. Underage sex or sex
with underage kids includes Pedo's and Homo's. Homo's regularly
start their sex life early and in their turn prey on `fresh meat'.

If it were a crime subject to capital punishement you could earn
lotsa cash out of doing it as well.
Families paying you cash to make sure you use one bullet instead of 6
Other families paying you cash to make sure you use
6 bullets instead of one ...
and if no one is offering; you could make a game of it and get the
condemned to roll a dice.

We shouldn't tolerate Homosexual lifestyles. They should be
regulated to protect the community and themselves.

Since you lazy sods find a simple Google search too taxing(and as for
pradipshit parekh, additionally suffering from hallucinations brought on
by the realization of zero self-worth), here are the words from Chapter
V, Section 116 of the Australian Constitution, along with a reference
where you can read all of it:

The Commonwealth shall not make any law for establishing any
religion, or for imposing any religious observance, or for
prohibiting the free exercise of any religion, and no religious test
shall be required as a qualification for any office or public trust

Now perhaps pradipshithead parekh aka "harmonkey" can indicate where the
alleged Bible verse is in Chapter 5, Section 116, quoted above.

Good for you but that shows they didn't specifically target Indians. The
Indian media would have you believe there is some sort of conspiracy among
racists to target Indian students. I want to know why?

Yep exactly that isn't to say they are no racists in Australia. Sadly I must

color.

I wanted harmony to show us where the Bible verse was. You can't just say

NOW YOU GOT YOUR ANSWER ! Okay ?

Then change towards a more respectful & loving way of life ... indeed
as it is you are as well guilty of the whole set up as the rest ! Look
at your hands & teeth !

... See, reddened with the blood of innocent victims sacrificed on

Hence why complain when you pay the bill ?

From: "Bob Hawke"

If you repent to the correct degree and shove your head up your arse far
enough, you will completely dissappear and your problems (and ours) will be
SOLVED.

Well I don't adore gay people but I do think people who come out of the
closet in a climate where people could still be beaten up for being gay are
brave. There will always be straight people to continue the species. If
every single person in the world was gay and I was pressured into being gay
then I would still not deny who I really am and would still admit women turn
me on. I am sure a lot of people feel that way so I don't think gay people
will cause the downfall of humanity or anything.

someone who left her parents because they shoved their religion down her
throat.

Letter to the Joint Secretary, Ministry of External Affairs, Govt. of India

Sir,

India is the only country where the offender of the country is
glorified if he is a muslim. MF Hussain who has portrayed Bharat Mata
in the nude has been glorified in your magazine "India Perspectives"
September-October 2009. Is it not highly hypocritic on the part of
the Govt. to glorify a person who should have been behind the bars
for offending the nation? And it is the country where the book of the
writer Salaman Rushdie was banned. You owe the nation the explanation
why you glorify MF Hussain who has hurt the sentiments of crores of
Hindus and is an offender of the nation. Is it not for collecting
muslim votes for the party in power?

BJP workers damage railway station in Madhya Pradesh

Bhopal, Feb 26 – The ruling Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) workers
Friday tried to set a train on fire and damaged property at Jabalpur
railway station in Madhya Pradesh, alleging the city's interests were
overlooked in the railway budget.

The violent workers were protesting extension of Jabalpur-Mumbai Garib
Rath up to Allahabad in Uttar Pradesh and Jabalpur not getting a
railway division status.

Government Railway Police (GRP) baton charged the workers to disperse
them.

Later, more than a hundred protesters, led by BJP MP from Jabalpur
Rakesh Singh, courted arrests against the move to extend Garib Rath's
run to Allahabad.

BJP workers clash with police in Uttar Pradesh

Lucknow, Feb 25 – Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) activists clashed with
police here Thursday when their protest against the central
government's failure to contain rising prices took a violent turn.

Police fired tear gas, rubber bullets and water cannons to disperse
the protesters, who threw stones at the security personnel. Police
were trying to stop the protesters from marching towards the state
assembly.

Police claimed no one was injured in the incident, but the opposition
party alleged 12 of their workers and leaders sustained injuries after
police baton charged them.

Led by senior leaders including Rajnath Singh, Murli Manohar Joshi and
Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi, BJP workers from across the state, converged at
the Jhule Lal Vatika to participate in a 'Maha rally against
inflation, corruption'.

After the senior leaders' address, party workers marched towards the
assembly, but were stopped by police. Agitated party workers then
started clashing with police and tried to force their way out of the
barricades put up to stop them.

MNIK opens across Madhya Pradesh amidst minor protests

Bhopal, Feb 12 – Shah Rukh Khan's latest film 'My Name is Khan'
released all over Madhya Pradesh except Jabalpur Friday, amidst some
protests by the Shiv Sainiks. The film drew huge crowds with all the
shows going 'house full'.

Police had to use mild force to disperse Shiv Sena activists who
pelted stones at the Jyoti Talkies in Bhopal. A handful of Shiv Sena
activists, around 20, earlier in the day held a demonstration at the
cinema hall but their attempt to disrupt the show was unsuccessful.
Heavy police force was deployed at all the three theatres where the
movie was released in Bhopal.

Shiv Sainiks, however, returned during the evening show and pelted
stones after which police baton charged them and took a few of them in
custody.

The movie could not be screened in Jabalpur district as the theatre
owners there said there was no communication from their association in
Mumbai and hence, they were unable to begin the screening.

Elsewhere in the state including Gwalior and Ratlam the movie was
released amidst minor protests, said MP Cinema Exhibitors Association
Secretary Aziz Bhai.

Meanwhile, noted lyricist and poet Javed Akhtar said: 'Shah Rukh's
statement was not controversial. Shah Rukh also said 'how can I take
the Pakistani players because there is a problem between India and
Pakistan'. But unfortunately this part of the statement is not
mentioned.'

INOX Cinemas restart advance bookings for 'MNIK' in Mumbai

Mumbai, Feb 10 – Multiplex chain INOX Cinemas restarted advance
bookings for 'My Name is Khan' here Wednesday evening after shutting
it down for much of the day due to the threat of violent protests by
Shiv Sena activists.

'Advance booking is now on at our halls,' an official from INOX
Cinemas told IANS.

Cinema halls in India's film capital had stopped advance bookings for
the Shah Rukh Khan starrer following violent protests by Shiv Sena
activists Tuesday. On Wednesday, the violence was restricted to
tearing of hoardings, at least till the afternoon.

Multiplex chains like PVR and Cinemax halted their advance bookings
for the film in the morning, as did single screen theatres like Mehul
in Mulund and Shreyas in Ghatkopar, their officials said. Fun Cinemas
also halted advance bookings.

Activists of the right wing Shiv Sena continued to demonstrate against
the movie since Shah Rukh supported the inclusion of Pakistani
cricketers in the Indian Premier League (IPL).

The activists have been vandalising cinema halls and tearing up
hoardings, despite the Mumbai Police assuring security cover at the 63
cinema halls and multiplexes that are still scheduled to show the
movie here from Friday.

Set in post 9/11 US, the film also features actress Kajol.

Police fired tear gas and rubber bullets and used water cannons to
disperse the protesters, who threw stones at the security personnel.
Police were trying to stop the protesters from marching towards the

after police baton charged them.

'We are getting calls from several hospitals, where hundreds of our
workers were admitted after they received serious injuries in police
lathi charge and other violent methods adopted against us by the
security personnel,' Pankaj Singh, son of former BJP president Rajnath
Singh, told reporters.

Rajnath Singh told reporters: 'Our's is a democratic country, still
police today (Thursday) behaved in an autocratic manner to suppress
our peaceful demonstration… Police threw stones at our leaders and
also resorted to force against them without any reason. Even I had to
use a chair as a cover to protect myself from police.'

'Police without reason used force against us and injured several of
our leaders. It's disgraceful on the part of the Uttar Pradesh
government, on whose directions we were targeted today. We will
definitely raise the issue in parliament,' he added.

Senior BJP leader Murli Manohar Joshi said that police atrocities
against the party workers reflected 'the inhumane nature of the
government that prompted police to resort to violence against the
party workers who were carrying out peaceful demonstrations'.

'Police repeatedly ignored the appeals of Rajnath ji and other party
leaders to not use force against us… However, not paying any heed
towards such appeals, the police continued to bash us,' he alleged.

Led by senior leaders including Rajnath Singh, Murli Manohar Joshi,
Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi and Vinay Katiyar, BJP workers from across the
state converged at the Jhule Lal Vatika to participate in a 'Maha
rally against inflation, corruption'.

After they were addressed by the senior leaders, party workers armed
with saffron flags marched towards the assembly but were stopped by
police. Agitated party workers then started clashing with police and
tried to force their way through the barricades put up to stop them.

Venting their ire against the security personnel, agitated BJP workers
even manhandled Superintendent of Police (Trans-Gomti) Paresh Pandey
after holding him captive for some time.

Pandey could only be rescued after the intervention of Rajnath and
other party leaders of the party, who appealed to the BJP workers to
release the police officer.

BJP workers clash with police in Lucknow, Chandigarh

Lucknow, Feb 25 – Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) activists clashed with
police in Lucknow and Chandigarh Thursday when their protest against
the central government's failure to contain rising prices turned
violent.

In the Uttar Pradesh capital, police fired tear-gas and rubber bullets
and used water cannons to disperse the protesters, who threw stones at
the security personnel. Police were trying to stop the protesters from
marching towards the state assembly complex.

Police claimed no one was injured in the incident, but the opposition
party alleged a large number of party workers sufferd serious injuries
after police baton charged them.

Pandey could only be rescued after the intervention of Rajnath and

Meanwhile, the state BJP unit has announced plans to observe Feb 26 as
Black day to protest the police actions against party workers.

To protest the police action and the alleged autocratic functioning of
the BSP government, the BJP has called for a state-wide bandh March
2.

In Chandigarh also, led by Haryana BJP president Krishna Pal Gurjar,
party workers held a protest rally and raised slogans against the UPA
government.

The protesters turned violent when police stopped them from moving
towards the Haryana Raj Bhavan, official residence of state Governor
Jagannath Pahadia.

'They were not listening to us and were disturbing the law and order
situation of the area. Therefore, we used mild force to control them.

Over 200 BJP workers from various parts of Haryana gathered here

'We just wanted to meet the governor and to submit our memorandum to
him. But Chandigarh police started pushing and misbehaving with us.
They have mercilessly beaten our party workers and during the melee
scores of our party workers have sustained serious injuries,' said
Gurjar, who was also arrested by the police.

Cheers,
Arindam Banerjee

Since you lazy sods find a simple Google search too taxing(and as for
pradipshit parekh, additionally suffering from hallucinations brought on
by the realization of zero self-worth), here are the words from Chapter
V, Section 116 of the Australian Constitution, along with a reference
where you can read all of it:

The Commonwealth shall not make any law for establishing any
religion, or for imposing any religious observance, or for
prohibiting the free exercise of any religion, and no religious test
shall be required as a qualification for any office or public trust
under the Commonwealth.

Now perhaps pradipshithead parekh aka "harmonkey" can indicate where the
alleged Bible verse is in Chapter 5, Section 116, quoted above.

HUSAIN IS NO MORE AN INDIAN?

http://www.freepressjournal.in
Friday, February 26, 2010

Indraprasth aka New Delhi - Qatar has conferred on M F Husain its
nationality, which the latter might accept as New Delhi cannot
protect him from fringe groups...

Under attack from sections of the Hindu right and hopping between
Dubai and London, as he lived out of a suitcase as a homeless
itinerant, India's most celebrated artist M.F. Husain has reportedly
been conferred Qatar nationality.

This, in turn, has ignited a major de- bate with his critics slamming
him but the UPA Government insisting that he was the "pride of
India."

The 95-year-old celebrity painter, who has been named in hundreds of
lawsuits across the country for his paintings on goddesses that many
Hindus find sacrilegious, said he has been "honoured" by Qatar.

"I, an Indian origin painter M.F. Husain at 95 have been honoured by
Qatar nationality," Husain wrote above a black- and-white line sketch
of a horse, the leitmotif of much of his work.

The Hindu newspaper carried the black and white drawing on Thursday
morning. In a signed article, The Hindu editor N. Ram wrote that the
artist had given him the news from Dubai.

According to the report, Husain did not apply for the nationality but
it was conferred on him at the instance of the emirate's ruling
family.

However, Husain has not clarified whether it is honorary citizenship
and whether he is giving up Indian citizen- ship. India does not
allow dual citizen- ship, even though there is an Overseas In- dian
category. Photographer, designer and activist Ram Rahman, who is
close to the Husain family, said: "The citizenship has been offered
by the sheikha, the wife

of the sheikh of Qatar, and it has several implications. "On a
personal note, I feel it is quite clear that a man who is 95 years
old and cannot return to his country to die, there is no point in him
remaining an Indian citizen." "It would be a tragedy. He has not
given up his Indian citizenship yet but if he decides to take up the
Qatari offer, he will not remain an Indian citizen anymore. It is
also a reflection of our legal system because the cases against him
will drag on for 20-30 years.... So it is justified if he takes up
the Qatari offer," Rahman told a wire agency.

Last month, the legendary painter had said that he missed India
"tremendously" but could not return to the country because of the
numerous cases filed against him for his art.

The news found emotional resonance amongst his friends, fans and in
political circles. Apparently embarrassed by the development, the UPA
Government made it clear Husain was free to return to India and it
was ready to provide him security.

Describing the painter as the "pride of India," Foreign Secretary
Nirupama Rao said, " I would like him to feel safe and secure in
India." Union Home Secretary G K Pillai said, "There is no case
against M. F. Husain. Supreme Court has quashed all the cases against
him." RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat said in Thiruvananthapuram the Sangh
was not opposed to the renowned painter's return, but he should
apologise to the people "whose feelings he has hurt with his
paintings." The BJP, too, said it had no issues with Husain being
offered citizen- ship, adding that everybody had a right to reside
anywhere in the world. However, every painter, writer, journalist and
those involved in other creative pursuits should keep in mind that
while they are engaged in painting or writing... they should not do
anything which hurts or harms the sentiments of others...

Expressing unhappiness over the development, some artists said it was
a shame that a revered painter could not return to his homeland at
the fag end of his life.

"The Qatar offer is a great honour for him," painter Anjoli Ila Menon
said, describing Husain as a "true Karma Yogi". Referring to the con-
troversy over his work, she said all that the government had do was
to extend him security.

Filmmaker Shyam Benegal said he would not blame Husain if he accepts
Qatar's nationality as he has been treated "so shabbily in our
country." He is a living treasure and certainly the most celebrated
Indian contemporary artist, Benegal added.

Husain went in exile after a hate campaign was launched against him
in 2006 over his controversial paintings. Several cases were filed
against him, his house was attacked and art works ravaged by funda-
mentalists.

Kishan Khanna, who was a member of the Progressive Artists Group co-
founded by Husain in 1947, said: "I am feeling awful. I feel it is a
slap in the face for the country." Theatre veteran M K Raina, who had
protested against exclusion of Husain's works at the 2008 India Art
Summit here, said: "When Salman Rushdie was issued a fatwa, Britain
and other countries stood by him.

I think this is a slap on Indian democracy and it is a nation's loss.
This hypocrisy of calling yourself a 5,000 year old civilization, it
is hogwash."

Ajith gets Karuna support

PNS
The Pioneer
Saturday, February 27, 2010

Chennai - Actor Ajith Kumar has been in trouble since the beginning
of this month, more so since his brave speech on February 6 at the
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi's felicitation function
against political pressure on artists. But now Karunanidhi himself
has come in support of Ajith and to keep the anti-Ajith brigade at
bay.

It may be recalled that at the function Ajith had said, alluding to
the coercion in attending political functions and participating in
agitations: "We had been threatened and intimidated for non-
cooperation with our projects if we resist them." An embarrassed
Karunanidhi had said: "We are all from the family of arts. There
should be no politics in the world of films."

But later there were criticism hurled at him, except superstar
Rajnikant who stood up to applaud his speech. Many artistes,
appreciating Ajith's speech had later said that the issue would have
gone unnoticed if Ajith did not bring this up in the presence of
Karunanidhi.

Subsequently, Ajith and Rajnikant had meetings with Karunanidhi. But
those against Ajith had continued a tirade against the actor. Last
week, following criticism from stunt director Jaaguvaar Thangam,
there was an attack on Thangam's car and his wife was injured.
Thangam alleged that it was done by Ajith's supporters. Expecting
retaliation, the Government gave police protection to Ajith's
residence.

The industry associations were divided over its support to Ajith,
even as the actor stuck to his guns. He also clarified that it was
not meant to hurt anyone or that it was directed at Karunanidhi.

As the controversy raged on, Karunanidhi in a letter to his cadre on
Thursday urged that the issue should be resolved. He appealed to the
film industry to maintain decorum. He said that Ajith's speech did
raise doubts if it was directed at him and when the media focused on
this, Ajith himself met him to clarify that he had a past incident in
mind and that it was not directed at him.

"Those who have attempted to create a big issue out of this row have
been disappointed following the efforts taken by actors like
Rajnikant... The entire film industry, including those who were in
the forefront to organise that felicitation function -- directors
Rama Narayanan, Guhanathan, Sarath Kumar and Radharavi -- should vow
to maintain decorum so that no one can create even an iota of
confusion. It will give more happiness to me than the felicitation
function," Karunanidhi wrote.

Gadkari bats for citizenship rights for W Pak refugees

PNS
The Pioneer
Saturday, February 27, 2010

Jammu - Bharatiya Janata Party president Nitin Gadkari said on Friday
that before extending 'red carpet' to Kashmiri youth, who crossed
over to Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) to receive arms training 20
years ago, the Jammu and Kashmir Government should think of awarding
permanent citizenship to the refugees from west Pakistan as the same
has been denied to them for over 60 years now.

The BJP chief also clarified that it was not appropriate to compare
the present situation in Jammu and Kashmir with that of in Punjab as
the Khalistan movement there had ended while war against terrorism in
Jammu and Kashmir is still on.

Omar had taken strong exception to the stand taken by the BJP -- an
ally of the Akali Dal-led coalition Government in Punjab over similar
rehabilitation package for the Sikh youth, who are stuck in Pakistan
and are willing to return home.

Addressing a Press conference after offering prayers inside the cave
shrine of Mata Vaishnodevi in Jammu, Gadkari said, "instead of
offering red carpet to Kashmiri militants from PoK the State
Government should first of all give citizenship rights to the west
Pakistani refugees".

"Over three lakh people have been denied their citizenship rights.
They can not purchase land anywhere in Jammu and Kashmir and cannot
work in State Government departments. Why they have been denied
permanent status in the State," the BJP chief said while criticizing
the Omar-led coalition Govern-ment in the State.

Reacting to Omar's statement on BJP's stand on return of Sikh youth,
Gadkari clarified that the Khalistan move has ended in Punjab while
the State of Jammu and Kashmir was still grappling with terrorism and
such a move would legitimise infiltration which is already increasi.

Gafoor reappointed Maharashtra ACB chief

By T N Raghunatha
The Pioneer
Saturday, February 27, 2010

Mumbai - The Maharashtra Government on Friday appointed the
controversial IPS officer Hasan Gafoor as the new State Anti-
Corruption Bureau (ACB) chief, less than a year after it had removed
him from the Mumbai Police Commissioner's post in the wake of his
indictment by the RD Pradhan Committee that probed the 26/11 attacks.

The Ashok Chavan dispensation rehabilitated Gafoor by shifting him
from his current position as the Managing Director of Maharashtra
State Police Housing and Welfare Corporation (MSPHWC) -- a relatively
insignificant post also referred to as Director General Police
(Housing) -- and making him the State ACB chief. The ACB chief's post
had been lying vacant ever since the State Government appointed
senior-most IPS officer AN Roy a month ago.

When The Pioneer reached out to him, Gafoor -- an officer from the
1974 IPS batch -- declined to comment on his new posting, except for
saying that he would have to seek the State Government's permission
before speaking to the media. He, however, confirmed that he would
take over as the new ACB chief on Monday.

Coming as it did with just 10 months to go for his retirement,
Friday's development must have come as a big relief for Gafoor -
given the public humiliation he had suffered after the RD Pradhan
Committee indicted him in June last year for having 'failed' to
provide 'visible and overt leadership' to his force during the 26/11
attacks. The committee had also blamed Gafoor for his failure to
follow the Standard Operating Practice (SOP) during the 26/11
attacks.

In its indictment of Gafoor, the Pradhan Committee had observed in
its report: "... we find that the CP Mumbai (Gafoor) did not exhibit
adequate initiative in handling the multi-prolonged attack. He
remained at one spot near the Trident Hotel throughout the
operations... Moreover, several senior officers told that in those
three days (November 26-29, 2008), the CP neither give any directions
nor inquired about the ongoing operations. We found that although the
CP was in touch with wireless and mobile on selective basis, several
officers felt that they did not get a feeling that they were part of
the team... We have come to the conclusion that there was absence of
visible and overt leadership on the part of Gafoor".

Following his indictment by the Pradhan Committee and posting as the
MSPHWC chief, Gafoor was involved in another unseemly controversy in
November last year, ahead of the first anniversary of the 26/11
attacks. He was pulled up by the State Government for his reported
comments in a media interview in which he had charged that four of
his senior IPS officer-colleagues had "refused to be on the ground
and take on the terrorists" during the 26/11 attacks.

The four officers who he alleged had failed in discharging their duty
during the 26/11 attacks were: Parambir Singh, the then Additional
Commissioner of Police, Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS), KL Prasad, then
Joint Police Commissioner (Law and Order), Additional CP Crime Branch
Deven Bharti and K Venkateshan, then Additional CP (Mumbai South).

Isak, Muivah to meet PM emissary

PNS
The Pioneer
Saturday, February 27, 2010

Indraprasth aka New Delhi - Carrying forward the dialogue process on
the vexed Naga issue, NSCN-IM chairman Isak Chisi Swu and general
secretary Thuingaleng Muivah will arrive here on Saturday to hold
talks with the Centre's new pointsman RS Pandey. They are also likely
to meet Prime Minister Manmohan Singh during the visit.

Swu and Muivah, who had last come to India in December 2006 and held
talks with Government leaders, are arriving a fortnight after the
Government appointed Pandey, a former Petroleum Secretary, as the new
interlocutor on Naga talks earlier this month.

The two top Naga rebel leaders, who are based in the Dutch capital
Amsterdam, are likely to call on the Prime Minister and Home Minister
P Chidambaram, official sources said here on Friday. Ahead of
meetings with political leadership, the Naga leaders will hold talks
with Pandey on March 2-3, they said.

The two leaders were also expected to visit Nagaland besides
addressing to the issue of clashes between the cadres of NSCN-IM and
its rival NSCN (Khaplang), which resulted in unrest in the recent
past. Sources in the Government said they would try and iron out the
differences with the Centre on key issues, including the sovereignty
demand under which the NSCN-IM has proposed a federal relationship
with Indian Union.

Pandey was appointed as the new interlocutor for Naga talks on
February 12 and while appointing him, Chidambaram had said, "I am
happy to announce the appointment of RS Pandey as the interlocutor
and the representative of the Government of India to hold talks with
NSCN-IM."

A Nagaland cadre IAS officer of 1972 batch, Pandey has served as
Chief Secretary in the insurgency-hit State and is a recipient of
Prime Minister's Award for Excellence in Public Service in 2007
besides the UN Public Service Award in 2008.

He was appointed in place of former home secretary K Padmanabhaiah,
who had handled the dialogue process with the NSCN-IM for nearly a
decade. The Government relieved him from the responsibility last
September. The Naga delegation is now expecetd to continue its
discussion with Pandey over the limits of flexibility within the
Constitution and whether a "sub-national constitution" could be
accommodated within it.

The two leaders may also review progress made since the NSCN-IM
submitted a 20-point charter of demands to the Centre. In this
charter, the NSCN-IM has sought unification of all Naga-inhabited
areas of the north-east -- an issue opposed by Manipur, Assam and
Arunachal Pradesh -- separate representation at the UN and greater
rights over natural resources, finance, defence and policing.

A ceasefire was agreed upon with NSCN-IM since August 1997. In May
1998, the first negotiator Swaraj Kaushal was appointed. He continued
in his post till July 1999.

Furore in J&K over SMS mocking at Abdullahs

By Mohit Kandhari
The Pioneer
Saturday, February 27, 2010

Jammu - A sequel to this season's biggest Bollywood blockbuster -- 3
Idiots -- hit the mobile screens in Jammu and Kashmir on Friday
morning after majority of legislators belonging to the ruling
alliance and media persons woke up to read a crisp 'SMS' informing
them about the recent production of Government of India.

The SMS "someone posted 3 Idiots on Facebook. Three Abdullahs! Such
hatred and anger that could consume everyone" was circulated by
mischief mongers belonging to Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)
informing them about the recent post on the famous social networking
site.

In the recent post, the original poster of the Bollywood flick was
tampered with and in its place someone had pasted images of top
leaders of the National Conference.

In the centre of the poster the image of Sheikh Mohd Abdullah was
pasted in place of Aamir Khan who had portrayed the lead character in
the satirical comedy. And on his left and right the pictures of the
Abdullah duo -- Dr Farooq Abdullah and Jammu and Kashmir Chief
Minister Omar Abdullah, were pasted.

In the backdrop, the poster read: "A Govt of India Film -- 3 Idiots -
- A Union Government Production." Other credit lines on the original
poster was also tampered with. Thus the poster read: Written by Pt
Nehru, Hari Singh and Sheikh Mohd Abdullah; Music -- Yelp of Kashmir;
lyrics -- Betrayers of Kashmir.

As the news spread like wild fire here in Jammu, angry workers of the
National Conference and several sitting Ministers and party
legislators assembled at the party office on Residency road area and
took out a protest march shouting slogans against PDP chief Mehbooba
Mufti for hitting a low.

Several party leaders vent their ire on PDP leader for showing
disrespect to the tallest leader of J&K, Sheikh Mohd Abdullah. A
large number of NC workers were prevented by police from moving
towards the head office of the Peoples Democratic Party in the Gandhi
Nagar area where security was beefed up in advance to prevent a clash
between the workers of both the parties.

Responding to the sentiments of party workers, Finance Minister and
senior party leader Abdul Rahim Rather addressed a Press conference,
where majority of party legislators were present. He took strong
exception to the slanderous campaign allegedly unleashed by the main
Opposition party targeting the top leadership of the National
Conference.

"I fail to understand what kind of politics is this," Rather said
describing Mehbooba Mufti's utterances as creation of an 'alien
mind'. He said the workers of National conference are an agitated lot
and PDP has virtually come down to such a low to express their
frustration.

On the other hand, PDP president Mehbooba Mufti while ridiculing the
National Conference said the ruling party was raking up irrelevant
issues to divert the attention of the people towards the failure of
the Government.

She said the ruling National Conference was trying to drag its late
leaders into unnecessary controversy to divert the attention of the
people. "It is very unfortunate that the ruling party has dragged its
late leaders into controversies to hide its failure on all fronts,"
she said.

Ridiculing the charges of the National Conference, the PDP chief
advised the ruling party leaders to channelise their energy to
address grievances of the people at ground level instead of wasting
precious time on social networking sites.

Both are just as bad. We shouldn't hate someone just because they choose to

If missionaries and Christians hated me wouldn't they want me to go to hell
and not preach at me or try to "save" Hindu's and gays? Keep in mind I
believe all religion is made up and don't think they should do what they do
but yeah if they hated us they wouldn't try to save us.

Remember I think religion is BS.
