That sociopath Jay Stevens who calls himself
Jai Maharaj and adorns his false name with a false
title goes on massively spamming sci.lang, of the 30
threads presently on the first page of the topics list
15 are by him. I will go on repeating what I have to
say about him, in previous messages quoted below.
My word has a weight, also among the Hindu
community, for I am pointing out the value of Indian
mathematics, I worked about the Harappan tablets,
I can prove that there is a direct line from Harappa
to the Vedic religion, and I can take it up with Dr.
Steve Farmer, assistant of Witzel. Dr. Farmer
felt sorry for me that I believe the nonsense of
Asko Parpola, there being a gap of two thousand
years between 'Pashupati' and the first mentioning
of Murukan. But my work is here to stay, I can show
that the RigVeda go straight back to the mythology
of Ice Age Eurasia. So my word will have a weight
in these matters, my messages will be read again,
and I can tell for sure that Jay Steves who is at present
carrying out his second long-term massive attack on
sci.lang is a sociopath, and a cynic at that, fishing
for clients among the Hindus he considers a particularly
superstitious bunch, trying to win them for his astological
business. He pretends to be defending the Hindu cause,
but he is just making money, and he doesn't care whether
a newsgroup is choked by him, not even if that newsgroup
is seriously concerned with the culture of ancient India,
and providing new and fascinating links between Harappa
and the RigVeda, outwitting Witzel and his adlatus Farmer.
No, that sociopath Jay Stevens aka Dr. Jai Maharaj doesn't
care at all, all he cares about is the money he sucks in
from Hindu clients whom he makes believe his astro-crap.

Jealous, Jay?

Allow me to bring your attention to something you posted today:
"Lord Krishna is believed to have had about 16,000 wives."

Looks like this Winston Blackmore has some ways to go yet.

Krsna is a mythological figure and its just an interesting fairytale.
OTH, If accept Krishna as the Supereme Lord, as Vaishnavs do, who
lived 5000+yr, then you must accept that he expanded Himself into
16000 forms simultaneously, lifted Goverdhana etc, and resided with
all his queens in 16000 palaces. This character is neither
mythological nor Godhead.

Perhaps you could point out the Islamic barbarism in this case:

ROHTAK, AUG 6: Anil (22) and Rani (17) of Balhamba village, about 25 km
from here, could not have imagined a punishment harsher than this for
their "relationship" that was not acceptable to their families.

After being reportedly caught in a compromising position by the girl's
kin, the couple was brutally executed last night for saving the family
honour.

According to police sources, Anil was called to the house of the girl
late last night and was hacked to death after a heated argument over his
alleged affair with Rani. While the boy was killed and his body dumped
outside the village, the girl was strangulated and her last rites were
performed early in the morning. The body of Anil was noticed by a kin
early today.

Looks like it. This is widespread in islamic countries. True it takes
place in India but not that often. Probably influenced by islamic
practice. We have gandharva vivaha and this is considered acceptable
( in Tamil we call it kaLavu maNam). Still people lose their head

Hare krishna!"

He could be because during his young adult years that hindu group was
very active as missionaries in his home cuntry of america when he
converted. Or it could be another missionary group, the arse hoppers.

As to the tn. temple, a specific god was mentioned which eliminates your
question, now doesn't it?

Who can say that there is no valtine god, who has the authority to say?

Valentines day will be enjoyed in india this year, yet again. And the
radical local taliban can be predicted to put in an appearence.

Some interesting facts about India!

May 28, 2007

There are some important facts about India with which you may or may
not be aware of. These facts were recently published in one of the
German magazines which deals with world history. They are as follows:
India never invaded any country in her last 10,000 years of history.
India invented the Number System. Zero was invented by Aryabhatta.

The world's first university was established in Takshshila. More than
10,500 students from all over the world studied over 60 subjects. The
University of Nalanda, built in the 4th century CE, was one of the
greatest achievements of ancient India in the field of education.

Sanskrit is the mother of all European languages. It is the most
suitable language for computer software - a report in Forbes magazine,
July 1987. Ayurveda is the earliest school of medicine known to
humans. Charaka, the father of medicine, consolidated Ayurveda 2,500
years ago. Today Ayurveda is fast regaining its rightful place in our
civilisation. Although modern images of India often show poverty and
lack of development, India was the richest country on earth until the
time of British in the early 17th century. Christopher Columbus was
attracted by her wealth. The art of navigation was born in the river
Sindh 6,000 years ago. The very word navigation is derived from the
Sanskrit word navgatih. The word navy is also derived from Sanskrit
word nou.

Bhaskaracharya calculated the time taken by the earth to orbit the
sun hundreds of years before the astronomer Smart. Time taken by
earth to orbit the sun: (5th century) 365.258756484 days.

The value of "pi" was first calculated by Bodhayana, and he explained
the concept of what is now known as the Pythagorean Theorem. He
discovered this in the 6th century long before the European
mathematicians Algebra, trigonometry and calculus came from India.
Quadratic equations were propounded by Sridharacharya in the 11th
century. The largest numbers the Greeks and the Romans used were 106
whereas Hindus used numbers as big as 10**53 (10 to the power of 53)
with specific names as early as 5000 BC during the Vedic period. Even
today in modern times, the largest used number is Tera: 10**12 (10 to
the power of 12).

According to the Gemologi-cal Institute of America, up until 1896,
India was the only source for diamonds to the world. USA based IEEE
has proved what has been a century old suspicion in the world
scientific community that the pioneer of wireless communication was
Prof. Jagdish Bose and not Marconi.

The earliest reservoir and dam for irrigation was built in
Saurashtra. According to Saka King Rudradaman I of 150 CE a beautiful
lake aptly called 'Sudarshana' was constructed on the hills of
Raivataka during Chandragupta Maurya's time.

Chess (Shataranja or Ashtapada) was invented in India. Sushruta is
the father of surgery. Around 2,600 years ago he and health
scientists of his time conducted complicated surgeries like
cesareans, cataract, artificial limbs, fractures, urinary tones and
even plastic surgery and brain surgery. Usage of anesthesia was well
known in ancient India. Over 125 surgical equipments were used. Deep
knowledge of anatomy, physiology, etiology, embryology, digestion,
metabolism, genetics and immunity is also found in many texts.

When many cultures were nomadic, forest dwellers, over 5,000 years
ago, Indians established Harappan culture in Sindhu Valley (Indus
Valley Civilization). The place value and decimal systems were
developed in India in 100 BC.

Due to its achievements India has been praised by a large number of
renowned foreign personalities. Albert Einstein said: "We owe a lot
to the Indians, who taught us how to count, without which no
worthwhile scientific discovery could have been made." Mark Twain
said: "India is the cradle of the human race, the birthplace of human
speech, the mother of history, the grandmother of legend, and the
great grandmother of tradition. Our most valuable and most
instructive materials in the history of man are treasured up in India
only." French scholar Romain Rolland said: "If there is one place on
the face of earth where all the dreams of living men have found a
home from the very earliest days when man began the dream of
existence, it is India." Hu Shih, former Ambassador of China to USA
said: "India conquered and dominated China culturally for 20
centuries without ever having to send a single soldier across her
border."

Anybody looking at the facts of ancient history can soon see the
Indian technology was several thousands of years AHEAD of so called
western world , until Christians and jews turned up to SAVE you , why
do some Indians cling to western masters and attack Muslims when the
Muslims permitted hindu culture to survive often amazes me , but Im no
scholar in the region and I suspect its best left to those who know
the topic

There is no doubt the peoples from the IVC , played a very big role in
many fields

Pity its not better known , but as most history was written in
english , by whites for whites often it only whites version that is
permitted to go UNCHALLENGED
They claim to be right as is SAYS so in their version of history

Then refuse to even bother with ANYTHING not in THEIR version of
history as being of any value at all , AND its definitely WRONG if it
differs from THEIR version as recorded by WHITE experts it MUST be
wrong as they have PROOF in THEIR BOOKS

EXACTLY like the jews are doing in Palestine

DESTROY all evidence of all other civilizations and alters everything
until it MATCHES the jewish version , poor silly fools, every
archaeologist KNOWS the jews were NEVER more that a few crazed nutters
in a cave until recent centuries , jewish mythology at any cost to
anybody else history , they manufactured then re manufactured and
altered and JAILED ANYBODY who questions their version of history
banning ANY books that DARE question the jewish version and screwing
ANY politician who wont obey ORDERS from Israel theirs and buried
others exactly like the whites did all around the world for centuries
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indus_Valley_Civilization

Clearly the IVC must have been involved in the vast mining activity
seen in South australia several thousand years ago , as they led the
world in metallurgy in that period , when VAST amounts of TIN were
extracted from the Lower Murray mouth / now lakes Alexandria and
Albert and Coorong

Dear Malcolm,
Finished it at last! You should get a view if you click the link
above.
Let me know if you have any issues, or want any change to the above.
Then think what you want to do with it! Maybe some Middle East media
will be interested?
Cheers,
Arindam Banerjee
==================================================
seems they stopped visiting about 2000 odd years ago after several
thousand years of mining activity

Seems they were mostly traders, after TIN and gold and sandalwood and
resins / incenses, and South Australia was on the far end of there
vast trading routes with Egypt on the other end its very clear the
vast IVC cultures MUST have been involved , the IVC being half way
between the mines and the consumers in the then middle east markets ,
and IVC were world leaders in metallurgy for thousands of years
.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indus_Valley_Civilization#Trade_and_transportation
There was an extensive maritime trade network operating between the
Harappan and Mesopotamian civilizations as early as the middle
Harappan Phase, with much commerce being handled by "middlemen
merchants from Dilmun" (modern Bahrain and Failaka located in the
Persian Gulf).[43] Such long-distance sea trade became feasible with
the innovative development of plank-built watercraft, equipped with a
single central mast supporting a sail of woven rushes or cloth.
.
In South Australia , You can still see the cut sq 'red / pink"
sandstone blocks they used as ballast on the inward bound voyages ,
in and near the ancient mine sites , used to keep ocean going vessels
lower in the water , once ships loaded with TIN they off loaded the
ballast stone often leaving it for use by the people who supplied the
TIN / gold , possibly part of the TRADE price ? , that was then used
by early settlers near the south Australian mine sites , thousands of
tons of it can STILL be seen in old buildings built in the first few
years of white settlement , , stone near salt water disintegrated long
ago but inland it was buried and protected , clearly from some place
LONG LONG ago , Arindam said it looks like the stuff used in IVC
culture as do Egyptian visitors , clearly it is "waste grade left
overs" from temple construction , or recycling even older building
sites from 3000 years ago ,

Hahahaha you truly are an idiot kanga, you do realise that doc jai here
is one of the greatest culprits when it comes to promoting hatred of
Muslims? Nothing to do with "western masters" as he hates Westerners as
much as he hates Muslims. You two are perfect for each other, you're
both deluded hate-filled fuckheads...... Funny to watch you licking his
crotch though considering his total hatred of all things Islamic, makes
you look pretty fucking stupid.

http://in.news.yahoo.com/32/20100203/1055/tnl-im-had-plans-to-blow-up-iits-raise-a.html

4 Feb. 2010

Lukhnow - The Indian Mujahideen (IM) operative arrested by the UP's
anti-terrorist squad (ATS) on Monday from Azamgarh has revealed that
they had plans to blow up India's premier institutes like IITs and
raise IM's youth brigade.

To ensure maximum damage, the plan was to time the strikes around the
time when students visit the technical colleges for counseling, when
the branch in which a student wishes to specialize in is allotted to
them.

Shahzad, (21), now in ATS custody, is wanted for serial blasts in
Delhi's Karol Bagh, Greater Kailash, Tilak Marg and Connaught Place
as well as the controversial Batla House encounter that took place on
September 19, 2008. Two IM operatives and a decorated Delhi police
officer were killed in the encounter.

A Delhi police team has air dashed to Lucknow to interrogate one of
their most wanted accused. The Delhi police had declared a reward of
Rs 5 lakh on his arrest. A resident of Khalispur village under
Bilariaganj police station he was living at Rahmani Manzil, Qureshia
school campus of Azamgarh, UP. UP ATS chief Brijlal said Shahzad
revealed that they he was tipped to head the IM's youth brigade and
had plans to carry out strikes in Indore and had planted bombs at the
India Gate too.

The recruitment for the youth brigade had already begun and Shahzad
allegedly confessed before the ATS officials that he had started
sending youths through sea route overseas for training. Shahzad said
Atif Amin, the IM operative killed in the Batla House encounter was
the king pin who had assigned him the task of raising fully trained
youth outfit capable of carrying out strikes all over the country.
Barring a 10-second photo opportunity that the ATS allowed
camerapersons, the media was not allowed to interact with the alleged
terrorist.

Shahzad was produced in the court on Tuesday. The Delhi police is
expected to apply for the transit remand to take the accused to Delhi
for further interrogation. Police said efforts were being made to
probe his Iraq-connection among other things.

Ex-MLA gave me shelter: Delhi bomber

http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/city/delhi/Ex-MLA-gave-me-shelter-Delhi-bomber/articleshow/5536784.cms

In a shocking disclosure, arrested Indian Mujahideen terrorist
Shahzad Alam has revealed to the police that he was provided shelter
and financial help by a former Delhi MLA after he escaped from the
Batla House shootout on September 19, 2008. According to sources in
Delhi Police crime branch, Shahzad has also claimed that a Bihar-
based former junior minister and a prominent Mumbai politician helped
him evade arrest.
...
Shahzad has reportedly told the police that when the firing began at
L-18 Batla House, he and Junaid were in another room. He then went to
the balcony and saw policemen. While the gunbattle raged on near the
front door, the duo fled through the second exit. They ran down the
same stairs used by the police team to come up, apparently shouting
that they were residents. In the ongoing melee outside the building,
they were able to stage a getaway. They then took an auto-rickshaw to
Shaheen Bagh where they were sheltered by the former MLA, now based
in Noida.

Since the two were short of money, the ex-MLA allegedly provided the
cash that helped them board a train for Aligarh.

Avatar Gives Film Fans the Blues

By Stephen Jones
Epoch Times Staff
The Epoch Times
January 31, 2010

A luminescent, idyllic world populated by peace-loving aliens may
have captivated cinema audiences across the world, but for some the
'immersive' experience of watching the film Avatar has threatened to
overshadow their own lives.

[Caption] In the new James Cameron directed film Avatar, Neytiri
(Zoe Saldana) and Jake (Sam Worthington) make final preparations for
an epic battle that will decide the fate of an entire world. (WETA)

Hundreds of fans of James Cameron's blockbuster 3-D epic have
complained that they feel despair after leaving the cinema that they
can never live in a world like the mythical Pandora, in the film.

An online discussion board, titled "Ways to cope with the depression
of the dream of Pandora being intangible," has received more than
2,000 posts from fans beating their breasts over their relatively
more pallid life on Earth.

"After I watched Avatar for the first time, I truly felt depressed
that I was awake in this world again," one post reads.

Another says, "It's so hard, I can't force myself to think that it's
just a movie, and to get over it, and that living like the Na'vi will
never happen."

On a separate forum, on the Web site Naviblue.com, fans have even
considered more extreme action.

"I even contemplated suicide, thinking that if I do it I will be
reborn in a world similar to Pandora, and that everything will be the
same as in Avatar," one post read.

[Caption] In the James Cameron film Avatar, Jake (Sam

human DNA mixed with DNA from the natives of Pandora. (Mark Fellman /
WETA)

It has been speculated that the reason behind the widespread
depression may have been due to the release of the bright and
visually stunning film during the middle of one of Europe's bleakest
winters on record.

But U.K. psychiatrist, Dr. Jacqueline Scott, said that it was
unlikely that a film could trigger seasonal affective disorder.

"I think that the people who are feeling depressed may have already
had a predisposition toward this," says Dr. Scott.

The film is based around the story of how humans wage war on eco-
friendly aliens of an idyllic planet called Pandora, for a rare
mineral substance called "unobtainium."

Avatar, which took 14 years to make, has been lauded as a revolution
in filmmaking—not least because of its presentation in 3-D.

However, some say that the effect of 3-D cinema on audiences has not
been fully accounted for.

In his latest book, "The Age of Absurdity: Why Modern Life Makes it
Hard to be Happy," Michael Foley argues for a reappraisal of the
effect of film on our emotional state.

[Caption] Director James Cameron at the premiere of 'Avatar,' at
the Grauman's Chinese Theatre, in the Hollywood. (Robyn
Beck/AFP/Getty Images)

"With Avatar, the technology has become so highly sophisticated that
it makes the screen world seem more vivid than reality can ever be,"
he told the Times Online.

"What you're absorbing is so stimulating, and what it offers is so
frenetic, giving you a new stimulus every second, that it makes real
life feel sluggish, slow, and impossibly dead in comparison."

In a bid to recapture the same emotions of the film, a group of fans
in Florida have announced that they will create a commune inspired by
the ecological principles of the Na'vi.

The bizarre fall out from the film has even prompted the eccentric
London Mayor Boris Johnson to pen an opinion column in a U.K.
newspaper titled 'Stop pining for life on Pandora and come back to
planet Earth.'

He predicts that in 10 years' time the U.K. census will show more
adherents of Eywa, the earth goddess of the Na'vi, than there are of
Jedi.

"I can't believe that many of these gloomy post-Avatar Westerners,
when they really think about it, would want to up sticks to Pandora
and take part in Na'vi society, with its obstinate illiteracy,
undemocratic adherence to a monarchy based on male primogeniture, and
complete absence of restaurants," he said.

"The final irony, of course, is that this entrancing vision of
prelapsarian innocence is the product of the most ruthless and
sophisticated money-machine the world has ever seen. With a budget of
$237 million and with takings already at £1 billion [$1.6 billion],
this exquisite capitalist guilt trip represents one of the great
triumphs of capitalism."

TOPIC: WHY 'AVATAR' IS ACTUALLY THE 26TH BIGGEST MOVIE

Why 'Avatar' is actually the 26th biggest movie

The Live Feed
January 26, 2010

Box office is arguably more straightforward to report than TV ratings.
You have this weekly Top 10 list of returns, you compare each movie
to the other movies. TV ratings are a murky swamp where one network's
hit is another network's flop and context is not just a factor, but
often the entire story.

Han fucking soloYet one respect in which boxoffice reporting is
pretty odd -- emphasizing ticket grosses yet rarely mentioning ticket
sales. That would be like always reporting how many ad dollars sold
off "Lost" and not mentioning the number of viewers that actually
watched the show. With everybody reporting how "Avatar" is The
Biggest Movie of All Time based on grosses ($1.859 billion and
counting), it's important to remember how rising ticket prices skew
the returns.

Here's the Top 20 movies of all time ... by number of tickets sold [1]:

1 "Gone With the Wind" (1939) 202,044,600
2 "Star Wars" (1977) 178,119,600
3 "The Sound of Music" (1965) 142,415,400
4 "E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial" (1982) 141,854,300
5 "The Ten Commandments" (1956) 131,000,000
6 "Titanic" (1997) 128,345,900
7 "Jaws" (1975) 128,078,800
8 "Doctor Zhivago" (1965) 124,135,500
9 "The Exorcist" (1973) 110,568,700
10 "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" (1937) 109,000,000
11 "101 Dalmatians" (1961) 99,917,300
12 "The Empire Strikes Back" (1980) 98,180,600
13 "Ben-Hur" (1959) 98,000,000
14 "Return of the Jedi" (1983) 94,059,400
15 "The Sting" (1973) 89,142,900
16 "Raiders of the Lost Ark" (1981) 88,141,900
17 "Jurassic Park" (1993) 86,205,800
18 "The Graduate" (1967) 85,571,400
19 "Star Wars: Episode I" (1999) 84,825,800
20 "Fantasia" (1941) 83,043,500

"Avatar," despite topping the worldwide gross list [2], by and by, is
only No. 26 on the ticket sales list with 76,421,000 sold ... at
least, so far...

Doniger does a doggie and insults the Hindu -- Shrinivas Tilak and Shree Vinekar

Adhikaar comes with responsibility.

Doniger has abused the authority of an academic to produce hate
literature.

"The succinct message legal message is: I* *would venture to suggest
that the *Bhagavad Gita-,** *like the Mi-ma-msa- before it and from
which it draws, came frightfully close to opening up the discourse of
*adhika-ra** *in its later development towards a notion of *rights**
*(for it certainly stretches the erstwhile concept of entitlements
beyond the scope intended in earlier Brahmanic texts). It draws its
guiding impetus from Mi-ma-msa- exegetical hermeneutics, even as it
seeks to apply the signification beyond the framework of sacrificial
and religious rites to the broader context of social *dharma**
*(inclusive of war)."

In this case of Wendy's obnoxious behavior, we are dealing with
social dharma and should be contested in the halls of justics.

Editor's Comment (on Dr. Shrinivas Tilak's Doniger does a doggie --
[]quote] 'Doniger' in the title refers to Wendy Doniger, who is the
Mircea Eliade Distinguished Service Professor of the History of
Religion at the University of Chicago. The connection between
'Debbie' of the film and Professor Wendy Doniger (hereafter Doniger)
is that they both are in the business of providing entertainment
involving sex. Both employ bodies: Debbie her own; and Doniger the
bodies of Hindu gods and goddesses...In Doniger's 'alternative
history' (in reality it is more like a work of fiction) unfolding
India and Hinduism, dogs represent high caste Hindu males who have
oppressed and repressed everybody else in India since the ancient
Vedic times. In Doniger's reckoning, the traditional history of India
(a product of Brahmin imagination), religious minorities and social
outcastes are reduced to a status of a 'scape-dog' (p. 145) (these
include Muslims who ruled India for most of the last millennium; I
told you this is a work of fiction!)...Under the guise of providing
an alternative history, the real agenda of The Hindus is to drive a
wedge between Hindus and non-Hindus in India and elsewhere. In order
to show how Hindus are so utterly unlike others Doniger engages in
denigrating, distorting, and demeaning all Hindus (low or high caste,
men or women) and what is worse, 'defrocking' (both theologically and
sexually) their gods and goddesses. [unquote] :

Please refrain from asking the details of the act of doggying. If you
have some imagination you can see the Freudian ambition of Doniger to
have something she does not have so she could use it to actively
doggie the sacred of not only the Hindu Americans but all the Hindus
in the world. The Western Indologists started with the "monkey
business" and Doniger has elevated it to the "doggie business"!!!!!!
Woe to those Hindus and Indians that do not recognize this game and
naively even defend her or admire her. This is mainly the age old
game even the British played by driving wedges between different
Indian "groups" wherever they found a cleavage. The population of
South Asia has not learned the lessons from their history. Wendy is
not being playful she is plain vindictive, destructive and sadistic.
As if India is not already "f_c_ed up" over the last millennia and a
half, and just recovering from such massive traumatization, for the
world to produce and praise a few more "Wendies" to do such unkind
"doggies" to India!! It is not the "Sun God that raped Kunti"
(nowhere such rape is mentioned in Mahabharata!) but it is people
like Doniger who make it their business to "rape" India and Hindus.
Go figure, why? Seen from this perspective, honoring of Wendy by New
York Times is a hostile act towards India. For Penguin to publish it
and draw profits from Indian readers is a cruel joke with a book
priced for nearly Rs. 1000. It will pass as a micro-aggression in the
history but the consenquences for future generations of Hindus in
this country (U.S.) and may be even in India or all over the world
can be serious.
