Amazing 3D effects , the best is when the general hovers just
above your seat in his jet pack.Hopefully Bollywood will start making
some . It would be good if the govt or tycoons like Ambani sponsor
educational films eg medical , geography both 3D and non 3D . It would
be another revenue spinner for Bollywood.
Confessions of a shopaholic is a very good Hollywood movie ,
it makes you laugh and cry just like a Bollywood movie does , and even
has a song and dance.Great to see house full even after three weeks.
The Working has a couple of good disaster scenes - a subway
train crash and a jet plane one.

This is gross misinformation. TOI has become a gossip newspaper of
late concocting stories to suit its purpose of igniting a cold war
among actors and thereby increase its viewership.

In fact, SRK has always maintained Aamir is a better actor than him
and that his wife is a big fan of Aamir. And the dog comment is a
sarcastic repartee to the shameless remark Aamir made of naming his
dog after Shahrukh.

This is called gloating in one's success. Ghajni made 250 crores plus,
RNBDJ was not far behind in making 180 crores plus. If you take into
account the money the two movies were sold for(Ghajini was sold for 90
crores apparently), RNBDJ made better profits overall than Ghajni. But
of course, all this will go over the head of a self centered,
arrogant and a cheap person like Aamir who ditched his wife and 2 kids
and then has the gumption to talk about them to insult other actors.

Poor Amir still trying to gather attention by bringing up shah rukh
name. Ghajini was a pathetic violent movie and there was no need of
over the top emotions and stretched out muscles.
Amir, first acknowledge your son from mem sahiba of Lagaan than talk
about how to raise kids. If Ghajini runs for 16 years like dil walay
than talk. First try making a movie block buster with geek looks and
that also four days after mumbai attacks were over ( rab ne bana ).Do
not forget Shah rukh made you unemployed from 1996 to 2001 . You
still take 2 to three years break, grow hairs, and look for scripts.
While SRK is providing bread and butter to bollywood's spot boys to
producers, from last rock soild 15 years. You are not highly educated,
intelligent, witty, charming and articulate like SRK either.

Does Aamir read rsc/ramli. "warm regards" is rsc patented method.

"In his recent interviews, Shah Rukh sounds bitter about you. For instance, he
has said that his kids will never be your fans or that his dog refuses to be
called Aamir.

Let me say one thing clearly, no matter what Shah Rukh tells his children, I
will tell my kids to always love and respect him. What he teaches his children
is entirely up to him. I can understand that he is bitter as his films have not
done well. I have only have warm regards for him and wish him all the very best.

I'm glad India has a culture & religion of her own. Having one's own
religion & culture is integrate to self-identity and self-respect.

Taking on a foreign religion is to worship the achievements of some
foreign culture which has no bearing on one local culture. In the
case of islam, great effort is expended to teach the converted to hate
& destroy their culture. Hence the only thing converts can mindlessly
babble about is the achievements of some dude in saudi arabia not
their own country.

Very good indeed , the characters are well etched and you do care
for them , and it gives of a real feel of what it is like to live in
the crowded areas of Delhi.
A R Rheman's music is pretty bad apart from the pidgeon song , and
its only when you hear the old style songs -Babhuji dheera chalo- that
Sonan Kapoor sings to get on Indian idol , that the heart begins to
sing.
It will get a fatwa . Hindus are offended -' you put red line on a
stone and consider it God! ' says one character , but that is fine ,
Hindus are used to making fun of their religion as it is a fun
religion. But when the same character says to Muslims' you pray five
times a day and it will get you nowhere!' -that to Muslims is deeply
deeply offensive as in their heart of hearts they truly mistakenly
believe that Allah exists! and listens to all these prayers.
What is outstanding and really enjoybale is the Ram Leela peagent
which takes place over days and which shows how you can tell the same
story in so many different and interesting and entrancing ways.

Delhi-6 fails to crack domestic BO

IANS
Wednesday, February 25, 2009

By now, everyone knows that Delhi-6 has proved a
disappointment.

The gang of Delhi-6 on Indian Idol
http://sify.com/movies/bollywood/imagegallery/galleryDetail.php?hgallery=14840388

The question is, how has Delhi-6 performed on weekdays?
Did it fall heavily? Monday was part holiday, yet the
film fell at several plexes where it was holding fort.

Too loud: Read the Delhi-6 review here
http://sify.com/movies/bollywood/review.php?id=14859289&ctid=5&cid=2425

At most single screens, well, if the opening weekend
numbers ranged between 15 per cent - 25 per cent across
the country, you can easily guess the kind of business it
would do on weekdays. There has been a sharp decline from
Monday.

The verdict is loud and clear: Delhi-6 has under-
performed in India.

Images from Delhi-6
http://sify.com/movies/bollywood/imagegallery/galleryDetail.php?hgallery=14849494

What does it mean for UTV? Delhi-6 is an expensive
proposition and in view of the fact that the business is
seeing a downward pattern, the distributors should end up
losing money. Of course, it's a bit too early to gauge
the quantum of loss, but seeing the low tide, it's
evident that the distributors would find it difficult to
recover costs.

Sometimes, it's not the film, but the price that fails.

Masakali: Rahman's 10 best songs
http://sify.com/movies/bollywood/imagegallery/galleryDetail.php?hcategory=13733814&hgallery=14859853

In this case, the film as also its price has failed.

What does it mean for Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra? There's no
denying that Rakeysh is a fantastic technician, who knows
the craft well. But he has been let down by the
screenplay this time. Also, every film-maker needs to
study the viability of the actor before he spends an 'x'
amount on a project. Rakeysh should also take a note of
it.

What does it mean for Abhishek Bachchan? Drona (solo
Abhishek starrer) was an unmitigated disaster, Dostana
was an average success (although there are reports that
the distributors haven't recovered the huge price they
paid for its rights) and now Delhi-6, again a solo hero
film, has under-performed in India. His ratings are sure
to go down after the latest crash.

The dogs for hinduism has one track mind. Muslim upbringing on the
subcontinent has played as much role for the health of music there as
Hindu, Parsi, Sikh or ant other kind of upbringing.

Not so for the Hindu Dogs here.

Some of these Hindu pandits who had to convert to Islam , have
made contributions to music , however its no thanks to Islam itself
which bans music, as the Taliban and Saudis who know the quran by
heart have done, and will happen to Pakistan if it doesnt ditch Islam.
Why else would the Taliban be killing Shias , if not for
following infidel practices like music ?
What annoys me is that Islam bans music as Dr Zakir Naik keeps
stressing on his Islamic channel 820, and Sufi music is really Hindu
bhakti music, and his Hindu upbringing gave AR Rehman the chance to
enjoy and experiment with music and yet he gives the credit to non
existent cruel Allah !
Its a good thing Hindus are tolerant of converts to another
religion.

Good one Romainse!
A R Rehman and Resool pokutty are pride of India regardless of their
religion. It is organizations like shiv sena, bajrang dal, thakery who
keep shoving religion in our faces. The greatest strength of hinduism
is tolerance.
A. R rehaman might be a convert but can't even say Alhamdulilla
properly ( listen to his BAFTA speech). Same is true for Shahrukh khan
whose son was telling the NDTV that Ram was born in Dubai and mohammad
had a ninja fight with ravan.
